Four key steps in developing a relationship with Jesus Christ.

  1. Realize you are a sinner

    • All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. – Romans 3:23
    • For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. – Ecclesiastes 7:20
    • But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. – Isaiah 64:6
  2. Believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins, and turn away (repent) from your sins

    • While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. – Romans 5:8
    • “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” – Acts 3:19
  3. Salvation Prayer – New Birth

    • Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. – Psalm 51:7
    • For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. – Leviticus 17:11
  4. Water Baptism – Holy Spirit Baptism

    • We were buried with him through baptism. – Romans 6:4
  5. Read the Bible and Pray Daily

    • Grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. – II Peter 3:18
  6. Stand up for Jesus

    • Be faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown of life.” – Revelation 2:10
